About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and operate data center-scale logical models to evaluate future SSD product scenarios
  • Integrate workload data, telemetry, and benchmarks into performance, power, and cost projections
  • Model hyperscaler tradeoffs across compute, memory, storage, and interconnects to identify differentiation
  • Analyze AI cloud architectures and quantify the impact of component choices
  • Communicate technical insights and recommendations clearly to senior leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in hyperscale data centers or large cloud environments
  • Hands-on software development experience in Python, C/C++, or similar languages
  • Strong understanding of data center system architecture, including compute, memory, storage, power, and interconnects
  • Experience translating complex technical analysis into executive-level recommendations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or PhD in a relevant technical field
  • Experience building system-scale performance, power, or cost models using real data
  • Background in SSD or DRAM product engineering or performance analysis
  • Familiarity with simulators or system tools such as gem5, Simics, SST, QEMU, or PCIe subsystems
  • History of building internal tools or contributing to publications and patents
