Principal Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements, concept of operations, and high-level system architectures to develop specifications
• Lead design and development activities and provide technical leadership for requirements integration
• Develop system architecture and design documentation
• Guide system development and implementation planning through engineering management and test plans
• Manage system requirements to ensure compatibility with DoDAF and SOA architectures
• Coordinate resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings and design reviews
• Perform quantitative analysis in non-functional performance areas like reliability and maintainability
• Manage and ensure the technical integrity of the system baseline throughout the lifecycle

Requirements

• TS/SCI with a full scope poly
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline (or 5 years additional SE experience in lieu of degree)
• 20 years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs of similar scope and complexity
• Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts
