Principal Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support a cryptologic dissemination customer in modernizing auto-dissemination proposal adjudication
• Understand and learn data flows, transformations, and manipulations between systems
• Compile and review dissemination obligations from law and policy opinions
• Help clients define processes for determining proposal status (prohibited, allowed, or subject to adjudication)
• Create artifacts to assist requestors and adjudicators in performing their duties

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related discipline
• At least 20 years of systems engineering experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Familiarity with intelligence community law and policy protecting U.S. persons
• Experience in process engineering or Lean Six Sigma
• Systems engineering or development experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with U.S. or international privacy and civil liberties law
• Legal training or expertise
• Familiarity with the Cryptologic Dissemination Review Committee (CDRC)
• Operational SIGINT experience (CNO, NCSC, and Analytics)
• Experience as a SIGINT analyst, reporter, or auditor
• Proficiency with Jira
