Principal Systems Engineer - Secure TacCom

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis, architecture, and design at all levels of the total system product, including concept, fabrication, modeling, and testing.
• Conduct functional analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer needs into hardware and software specifications.
• Decompose customer specifications into sub-system and piece part requirements while developing verification criteria and plans.
• Execute technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and risk/cost analyses for total system solutions.
• Support bid and proposal efforts for new business opportunities.

Requirements

• STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with at least 5 years of experience.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance required on day one.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Proven experience with the systems development process, including requirements capture, design, decomposition, integration, and verification/validation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with the Scaled Agile framework.
• Experience with Cryptographic Hardware architecture/design and Network Encryption specifications.
• Proficiency with tools such as DOORS, CAMEO, or similar modeling software.
• Experience with programming languages such as Rust and Python.
• Strong communication skills with experience presenting technical data to executive leadership.
