Principal Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and documentation of system-level integration, Design Verification (DVT), and Qualification Testing (QT)
• Prepare comprehensive test plans, procedures, schedules, and resource requirements
• Coordinate test execution across multiple onsite labs and customer test facilities
• Organize and lead Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) for major test events
• Oversee testing during both the POD DVT phase and POM Qualification phase
• Collaborate with lab leads, engineering teams, and program leadership to ensure smooth operations
• Support anomaly investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action closure
• Manage test environment readiness, including hardware, software, and instrumentation

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Aerospace, Systems Engineering, Physics, or Math
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant engineering experience
• Experience with Design Verification Testing (DVT) and Qualification Testing (QT) for complex systems
• Proven experience leading test efforts from planning through report completion
• Experience leading teams and coordinating activities across distributed test environments
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain an interim U.S. government Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to drive TRRs, manage technical risks, and maintain disciplined configuration control
• Prior experience working with networking architectures or networked system environments
• Experience collaborating with EMI lab leads, ETF, or similar test facilities
• Familiarity with DoD or customer test processes and structured verification environments
