Principal Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support LTAMDS and GhostEye Radars through the full product lifecycle from concept to deployment
• Develop requirements, algorithms, concepts of operations, and system interfaces
• Lead testing efforts by developing and implementing test plans, procedures, and verification documentation
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis
• Develop and execute models to predict system performance and support verification and validation
• Conduct statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data to ensure optimal system performance
• Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems and evaluate functionality
• Present technical findings and solutions to leadership and customers
• Travel up to 20% to support mission execution at test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations

Requirements

• STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
• Experience developing both scripts and functions with MATLAB
• Experience interfacing with internal and external customers
• Active and transferable U.S. government Secret security clearance required on day 1
• U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with digital engineering tools such as DOORS, Rhapsody, or Cameo
• Experience with model-based engineering
• Proficiency with C++, Python, or similar programming languages
• Experience in developing and managing requirements
• Experience working in an integration lab, test facility, or in the field
• Experience evaluating systems using simulated environments
