About the role
Responsibilities
- Support digital radar test activities, including performance analysis and flight test mission activities to validate advanced radar capabilities and software.
- Plan and execute radar test events and conduct in-depth radar data analyses across HWIL, SIL, and field environments.
- Generate, run, and interpret modeling and simulation scenarios to predict radar performance and validate algorithm updates.
- Provide real-time and near-real-time field analysis during test events to advise mission leadership on system status.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, program leadership, and government stakeholders to define analysis objectives.
- Produce technically rigorous analysis reports, performance assessments, and presentation materials for internal and external reviews.
- Participate in technical reviews, including peer reviews, gate reviews, and test readiness reviews.
Requirements
- STEM degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
- Minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
- Expertise in waveforms, beamforming, and/or signal processing.
- Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, and/or other programming languages.
- Experience with system integration, verification, validation, and testing.
- Active and existing U.S. government Secret security clearance required on day one.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting radar Flight Test planning, execution, or post-test data analysis.
- Demonstrated experience in the verification and validation of Missile Defense System, Army, and/or Navy sensors.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary systems engineering teams.
- Experience developing verification/validation strategies for advanced radar capabilities and software builds.
