Principal Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the Systems Verification Lead with requirements verification, scope planning, and milestone creation
• Develop scenarios to support testing, data analysis, and software development
• Collaborate with systems engineers to resolve technical radar issues
• Coordinate across organizational disciplines to resolve roadblocks and ensure team objectives are met
• Strengthen team capabilities in data analysis, systems integration, and software development
• Support program execution through continuous improvement of processes and tools

Requirements

• STEM degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience
• Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, Linux, and/or Unix
• Experience with DOORS, systems integration, and verification processes
• Experience in technical or functional leadership roles
• Active and transferable U.S. government Secret security clearance
• U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience presenting data analysis to internal and external stakeholders and program leadership
• Experience with Agile and DevSecOps methodologies, including sprint reviews and PI Planning
• Ability to manage risk and opportunities and facilitate new process integration
• Experience with X-Band Radar analysis tools and root cause identification
• Skilled in removing task impediments and tracking agile metrics
