Principal Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support firmware development and integration for Electronic Systems (ES) and Electronic Assemblies (EA) performance
• Lead government Electronic Warfare (EW) performance testing
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all firmware development and debugging activities for Electronic Assemblies (EA)
• Determine product or system requirements based on customer information and provide full traceability
• Capture requirements in technical documentation, including specifications and interface control documents

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in EW/Radar systems design and requirements engineering
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance required prior to start date
• U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with investigation within the last five years
• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), specifically Cameo Enterprise Architecture (SysML)
• Proficiency with Matlab/Simulink, DOORS, DNG, Jira, and Confluence
• Knowledge of digital thread concepts, digital engineering, and agile DevSecOps delivery pipelines
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) or Cost Account Management (CAM)
