Principal Systems Engineer – Radar Systems Development and Integration

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for the hardware and software integration of complex naval radar systems
• Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and integration/verification documentation in simulated and operational environments
• Perform system requirements analysis, develop and manage requirements, and ensure traceability
• Analyze and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data review and debugging
• Integrate hardware and software components into tactical systems and assess overall performance
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to achieve functional maturity and address system-level issues
• Interface with Engineering and Program Leadership to communicate status, risks, and technical findings
• Mentor team members and contribute to the development of new procedures, processes, and standards

Requirements

• STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, and/or other programming languages
• Experience with radar data and/or analysis tools
• Experience with system integration and/or testing
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with digital engineering tools such as DOORS, Rhapsody, or Cameo
• Experience working in integration labs, test facilities, or field environments
• Experience working with the US Navy customer
• Subject Matter Expertise in Systems Requirements, Architecture, Integration, Verification, or Validation
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Applied Physics, or Systems Engineering
