Principal Systems Engineer - Platform and Flight Test

Responsibilities

• Perform integration and testing of the system under test for advanced hypersonic weapons
• Lead field testing operations at military bases
• Conduct data collection activities, including review and assessment of data elements, and provide detailed results reports
• Create and modify formal testing documentation, including Test Readiness Review (TRR), Consent to Ship (CTS), and Test Data Review (TDR) packages
• Prepare and present technical data to stakeholders and the customer community
• Travel approximately 50% of the time to support mission requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
• Minimum of 8 years of prior engineering experience
• Proven leadership experience and experience coordinating across multiple engineering disciplines
• Experience working in a laboratory environment
• Active and transferable U.S. government Secret security clearance required on day 1
• U.S. Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing requirements and working with data packages or variances
• Experience with test equipment and/or complex test environments
• Proficiency in risk management, including identification, tracking, and mitigation
• Experience with the Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
• Experience collecting and evaluating data to diagnose and resolve technical issues
• Proficiency with CAMEO
