Principal Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as the Technical Lead for Business Jet programs, overseeing the overall technical solution, system performance, and certification.
• Manage system requirements, control scope, and execute baseline change management.
• Lead critical program stage gates including Technical Concept Reviews (TCR), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR), and Critical Design Reviews (CDR).
• Define and drive ARP4754A/B practices and ensure compliance with TSO standards (TSO C-165a/b, C-195b).
• Participate in systems and software architecture, requirement, and design reviews to reduce integration costs.
• Mentor and develop engineering teams, providing hands-on support and guidance for technical career paths.
• Drive strategic initiatives such as Model-Based Development and Systems Test Integration Testing.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to drive growth through New Product Introductions (NPI).

Requirements

• B.E/B. Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum 20+ years of experience in avionics functions.
• Proven experience in Systems Architecture, Requirements, and Design.
• Expertise in aerospace standards, specifically ARP4754A/B and DO178B/C.
• Demonstrated experience in Systems Engineering leadership roles with program accountability.
• Strong ability to manage risks, opportunities, and multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and networking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working experience and knowledge of Displays Product lines.
• Experience with software development and review processes.
