Principal Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned system interfaces with designs that span extended teams
• Develop design and architectural documentation defining innovative features and technologies for next generation systems
• Design, develop and implement efficient and scalable design methods that span HW and SW layers of the system
• Prepare test and diagnostic programs, create prototypes, and debug new features on next generation products

Requirements

• 8 to 12 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree or 6+ years with a master’s degree
• Strong understanding of computer systems
• Broad knowledge of hardware and software interactions

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with an ability to lead a workgroup
• Mixture of hardware and software experience
• Capability to influence others to achieve results
