Principal Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead system architecture development and requirements analysis for combat Identification of Friend or Foe (IFF) solutions.
• Support system architecture development, CONOPS development, and system trade studies.
• Perform requirements analysis and flow down to hardware and software configuration items.
• Work within a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environment to develop and document system behaviors.
• Drive technical integrity within the engineering team and provide functional guidance to less experienced engineers.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including electrical, mechanical, software, and test engineers.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of related systems engineering experience in requirements analysis, development, and system performance analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 8+ years of experience, or an Advanced Degree with 5+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in SysML fundamentals and utilizing MBSE tools and techniques.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• OMG-Certified Systems Modeling Professional.
• Experience with MBSE tools such as DOORS Next Gen, Cameo Enterprise Architect, or Rational Rhapsody.
• Working experience with the development of military equipment.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Experience with DSP theory and/or MATLAB modeling.
• Experience in disciplined engineering processes, scope management, and risk management.
