About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform analysis, architecture, and design at all levels of the total system product, including concept, fabrication, modeling, test, and maintenance.
- Conduct functional analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer needs into hardware and software specifications.
- Decompose customer specifications into sub-system and piece part requirements while developing verification criteria and plans.
- Execute technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and cost and risk analyses for total system solutions.
- Support bid and proposal efforts for new business opportunities.
Requirements
- STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with at least 5 years of experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required to meet security clearance eligibility.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance.
- Proven experience with the systems development process, including requirements capture, design, decomposition, integration, and verification/validation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the Scaled Agile framework.
- Experience with Cryptographic Hardware architecture/design and Network Encryption specifications.
- Proficiency with engineering tools such as DOORS or CAMEO.
- Experience with software languages including Rust and Python.
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting technical data to executive leadership.
