About the role
Responsibilities
- Capture, analyze, decompose, and trace complex system requirements.
- Design, develop, and model systems and subsystems using SysML.
- Create, execute, and verify system and subsystem test procedures.
- Lead system integration and troubleshooting across embedded software, hardware, and system-of-systems environments.
- Use JIRA to decompose epics and features into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Manage project work including schedules, technical risks, costs, and performance objectives.
- Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams in both meeting and classified lab environments.
Requirements
- STEM degree plus 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree plus 5 years of experience.
- Hands-on experience designing network architectures using physical and virtual networks.
- Experience with VMware or cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or Oracle.
- Proven experience in Agile leadership roles (e.g., Scrum Master or Product Owner).
- Experience in capturing customer requirements and deriving/tracing system requirements.
- U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Top Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active or current U.S. security clearance.
- Proficiency with MBSE tools like MagicDraw CAMEO, Rhapsody, or Enterprise Architect.
- Expertise in building complex SysML models (activity, state, block diagrams, etc.).
- Knowledge of Project Management, Control Account Management (CAM), and earned value.
- Familiarity with bidding and project/task estimation tools like SEER.
