About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis, architecture, and design across the full product lifecycle, including concept, modeling, test, and maintenance
- Perform functional analyses, trade studies, and requirements allocation to translate customer needs into hardware and software specifications
- Decompose system-level requirements into sub-system and piece part requirements and develop verification criteria
- Oversee technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and risk management for total system solutions
- Lead bid and proposal efforts
- Perform daily tasks within a classified and controlled lab environment
Requirements
- STEM degree and minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and minimum 5 years of experience
- Expertise in the systems development process, including requirements capture, design, decomposition, integration, and verification/validation
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Proficiency with tools such as DOORS or CAMEO
- Experience with software languages such as Rust and Python
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting technical data to executive leadership
