About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development of full lifecycle solutions from CONOPS to Validation
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert within the discipline, providing advanced technical knowledge
- Oversee and perform lab activities including definition, setup, configuration management, and testing
- Ensure Modeling, Hardware, and Software Interfaces utilize a scalable ontology
- Manage the entrance and exit criteria of Design Reviews, Integration, Dry Run, and Formal Qualification Testing
- Coach, review, and delegate work to lower-level professional engineers
- Support system trade studies, requirements analysis, and allocation to subsystems
- Analyze and document system behaviors and manage moderately sized projects or processes
Requirements
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance required prior to start date
- U.S. citizenship is required
- STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree
- Strong integration and test experience, including procedure development, execution, reporting, and automation
- Knowledge of or application of Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
- Proficiency with Microsoft products and tasking boards such as Jira or IBM EWM
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Communication Radio and Systems (SATCOM, LOS/BLOS, AEHF, PTW, or V/UHF)
- Experience in Environmental Qualification Testing (EQT)
- Proficiency with modeling tools including CAMEO or Rhapsody
- Experience in proposal support and writing Basis of Estimates (BOEs)
- Experience in System Level Integration, Verification, and Validation (IV&V) for ground, ship, submarine, or airborne platforms
- Experience in Virtual Machine design and deployment
