Principal Systems Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, review, and implement test plans and processes to ensure compliance with worldwide PCBA test requirements.
• Provide on-site production build support at Vietnam PCBA factories to improve First Pass Yield (FPY).
• Manage PCBA factory test processes, including fixture planning, readiness, life cycle management, and issue tracking.
• Define system requirements for complex customer systems and determine specifications for hardware/software compatibility.
• Ensure the manufacturability, reliability, and serviceability of test designs through benchmarking and analysis.
• Lead root cause analysis for complex technical issues and coordinate with technologists and marketing teams to optimize performance.
• Document technical results in reports and white papers while ensuring projects meet schedule and cost objectives.

Requirements

• 8 to 12 years of related experience in PCBA test engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Advanced understanding of system architectures, firmware, BIOS, and test tools.
• Deep knowledge of hardware and software interactions with the ability to resolve complex issues.
• Strong communication skills with English fluency.
