Principal Systems Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex customer issues and critical escalations with urgency and precision
• Drive product excellence through deep root cause analysis and best practice implementation
• Collaborate with R&D and cross-functional teams to gather insights and transfer technical knowledge
• Identify and document resolutions to diverse technical problems to influence product enhancements
• Support the PowerStore business growth by providing technical expertise to customers and product teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
• 8+ years of experience in advanced technical positions such as technical support, development, or solution engineering
• Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in enterprise IT infrastructure and storage
• Proficiency with Linux, VMware, and Windows Server
• Foundational knowledge of SAN and networking

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with virtualization platforms, VDI solutions (VMware/Citrix), and enterprise databases
• Scripting capabilities in Python, PowerShell, or bash
• Database expertise in SQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
• Experience with storage performance tuning and clustering solutions
