About the role
Responsibilities
- Compose elegant, efficient, reliable and maintainable source code in C and C++
- Analyze, develop and optimize algorithms and data structures for memory and storage efficiency
- Analyze concurrency control and memory ordering issues for shared memory structures
- Maintain and extend the embedded ObjectScript programming language
- Enhance interactions with modern operating systems and hardware devices
- Develop and maintain database management APIs
- Debug complex problems and develop test code
- Compose internal design documentation
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience developing low-level system code for mission-critical software
- Proficiency in C or C++
- Knowledge of computer architecture, operating systems, and concurrency control
- Understanding of compiler and interpreter methods
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with assembly language
