Principal System Design Engineer, SSD Memory Systems

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of advanced solid-state drive (SSD) memory systems
• Design and develop innovative diagnostic tools and technologies in SSD firmware and testing software
• Develop new features and tools for full-stack SSD testing software using Python, C, or JavaScript
• Design, develop, and upgrade NAND characterization hardware and software tools
• Drive collaboration with functional teams to improve SSD testing environments
• Perform system failure analysis on test environment issues including firmware, hardware, and software

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience with a Master's degree or 7+ years with a Bachelor's degree
• Experience in system engineering (firmware/software), NAND device technology, or storage device design
• Proficiency in C and/or Python
• Experience working in a Linux environment
• Proven track record of achieving results in fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with A.I. tools like GitHub Copilot
• Experience with JavaScript, PostgreSQL, Docker, RestAPI, and gRPC framework
• Strong interpersonal and advanced problem-solving skills
