Principal System Applications Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design multi-channel digital receivers and transmitters for phased-array, radar, electronic warfare, and satellite communication markets
• Develop RF digital converter centric hardware and software from initial concept through productization
• Analyze signal chains using RF cascade concepts including gain, noise figure, linearity, and power
• Collaborate with internal applications and marketing teams to translate system requirements into next-generation product definitions
• Guide customers through system integration, troubleshooting, and testing processes

Requirements

• BS Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
• 10+ years of applicable professional experience
• Strong fundamental knowledge of RF, analog, digital, and mixed-signal systems
• Proficiency in RF cascade analysis (gain, spurious, linearity, noise figure, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with lab diagnostic equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with phased-array, radar, electronic warfare, or military communication systems
• Experience with printed circuit board (PCB) design and related design tools
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python scripting, or C/C++ software programming
