Principal System Administrator

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems
• Manage daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution
• Monitor and resolve problems for client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices
• Optimize system operations, resource utilization, and perform capacity analysis
• Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems
• Support the design of systems, mission architecture, and associated hardware
• Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware and software integration

Requirements

• TS/SCI with a Polygraph
• 15 years of experience as a System Administrator in similar programs
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (or 5 years additional experience in lieu of degree)
• 5 years of experience with system security tools (container security, VM security, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ELK
• Experience with Tripwire
• Experience with VMware
• Experience with RedHat SELinux
