Principal SW QA Engineer - Cloud

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and process leadership in developing test strategies for private cloud packet monitoring and hybrid security solutions.
• Drive innovation in automation for functional, cloud-scale, and stress testing.
• Interface with Product Management and Architects to ensure requirement compliance and determine release readiness.
• Lead multi-functional quality initiatives across functional, system, and performance testing teams.
• Review major deliverables to ensure high product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Utilize quality metrics to drive continuous improvement and technical excellence within the team.

Requirements

• 15-20 years of industry experience with a track record of shipping core-networking products.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Test Architect leading QA for private cloud software products.
• 3-5 years of experience testing software products on VMware and/or Nutanix platforms.
• Proficiency in Python or Unix Scripting.
• Experience with Test Automation Frameworks such as Robot, PyATS, or TestNG.
• BS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• Deep understanding of the full product life cycle, Agile/Waterfall methodologies, and System Testing Life Cycle.

Preferred Qualifications

• MS degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge of disruptive networking technologies like SDN and NFV.
• Experience with Enterprise/Service Provider Network Security Deployment Frameworks.
• Experience with traffic generation tools.
