Principal, Supply Chain Management

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end supply chain execution for key space systems programs, serving as the primary point of contact for Program Management, Engineering, and Operations.
• Develop and execute material strategies across all phases of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP).
• Optimize the supply base through supplier development, dual-sourcing, and long-range risk reduction.
• Provide onsite supplier support (25%–45% travel) to ensure production aligns with demand, quality, and schedule commitments.
• Partner on DFx (Design for Manufacturability, Assembly, Test) initiatives and evaluate engineering changes for supply chain impact.
• Act as Cost Account Manager for Supply Chain, managing budgets, sales forecasts, and risk mitigation plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of related experience, OR a Graduate degree with 10+ years of related experience.
• Demonstrated mastery of program and supply chain management within complex aerospace, defense, or space hardware environments.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) to monitor performance and control execution.
• Strong working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
• Proven leadership in managing complex subcontractors and long-lead materials.
• Experience engaging executive leadership with data-driven communication regarding risk and strategy.
