Principal Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Function as a discipline Project Engineer on medium to large-scale projects, assuming responsibility for group work.
• Plan, direct, and supervise major engineering units or projects involving significant manpower and financial investment.
• Lead engineers and design personnel to ensure technical excellence and adherence to Quality Improvement Processes.
• Provide technical consultations for interdisciplinary analytical studies and analyses.
• Ensure design compliance with all applicable codes and regulations, providing professional engineer seals and signatures when required.
• Prepare material/equipment specifications, review supplier data, and witness shop tests.
• Develop operation and maintenance plans, standard operating procedures, and O&M manuals.
• Conduct surveys, site investigations, and perform reliability, availability, and maintenance (RAM) and safety analyses.
• Assist in determining budget estimates and staffing requirements for defined scopes and schedules.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
