Principal Statistical Programmer

Responsibilities

• Lead statistical programming activities for assigned studies, ensuring quality, timely, and cost-efficient delivery of datasets
• Develop and review programming dataset specifications
• Coordinate activities of all programmers assigned to a specific study or project
• Serve as a key contact for Trial Statisticians and provide solutions to complex programming issues
• Communicate deliverable status, plan changes, risks, and mitigation strategies to cross-functional teams
• Contribute to the development of statistical programming standards, processes, and knowledge sharing
• Adhere to GxP regulations, SOPs, and rigorous quality control standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field
• 8-10 years of experience in statistical programming
• 2-3 years of experience leading studies in statistical programming
• Extensive experience with CDISC standards (SDTM, ADaM)
• Strong SAS programming skills, including macro development
• Deep understanding of regulatory requirements such as GCP and ICH
• Advanced level of English proficiency
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to work in a global environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in requirements analysis, resource estimation, and project tracking
• Strong working knowledge of statistical concepts
