Principal Specialist, Material Planner

Responsibilities

• Ensure material availability for production by working closely with Master Scheduling, Demand Planning, and Supply Chain functions
• Evaluate inventory and shortage reports to support weekly Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with production plan execution
• Communicate and expedite hardware requests with procurement teams
• Maintain Master Data fields within the SAP material master
• Align purchased material availability with manufacturing value streams through MRP
• Interface with Engineering, Finance, and Factory Operations to ensure efficient material utilization

Requirements

• University Degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience (or an Advanced Degree with 3 years of experience)
• Proven experience working within an ERP/MRP system
• U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using SAP
• Proficiency in Excel, including the use of pivot tables and complex formulas
• Background in aerospace planning
