Principal Specialist, Field Service

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the implementation and operational support of aerospace products and services across the Asia Pacific region.
• Oversee technical issues related to Datalink (ACARS, CPDLC, SATCOM), Connected Cockpit Solutions, and ground network messaging protocols.
• Drive effective project management for product implementations by collaborating with account managers, engineering teams, and subcontractors.
• Lead incident management efforts in collaboration with the global Service Desk to ensure timely resolution and SLA compliance.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through regular service reviews, relationship building, and addressing customer pain points.
• Support flight optimization systems, flight tracking, and aircraft predictive health maintenance solutions.

Requirements

• 5 years of technical experience in airline operations or the aerospace industry.
• Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., Aviation or Networks).
• Knowledge of aviation Datalink and/or ground communication networks.
• Business level fluency in both English and Korean (written and spoken).
• Strong technical communication, interpersonal, and customer support skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple customer-facing projects simultaneously and deal with ambiguity.

Preferred Qualifications

• CCNA or ITIL Certification.
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools and data analytics.
• Proficiency in tools such as ServiceNow and Smartsheet.
