Principal Solutions Architect - PLM & Digital Thread

Responsibilities

• Architect, configure, and implement Siemens Teamcenter X to establish a unified digital thread from product design through manufacturing.
• Design and maintain critical integrations between PLM, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE) ERP.
• Translate business process requirements into scalable, cloud-based technical solutions and workflows.
• Provide ongoing operational support, including incident response, system health monitoring, and troubleshooting across the PLM stack.
• Lead architecture discussions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver validated solutions in GxP environments.
• Drive continuous improvement of the PLM platform in alignment with the company's digital transformation roadmap.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM, including implementation and administration.
• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect designing integrations between PLM and downstream enterprise systems (MES/ERP).
• In-depth expertise in core Teamcenter modules, including Active Workspace and BMIDE.
• Experience working in FDA-regulated or GxP environments, including knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with Teamcenter X (cloud/SaaS PLM).
• Experience architecting integrations specifically with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE).
• Working knowledge of MES principles, including work order management and production traceability.
• Familiarity with digital thread concepts such as BOM lifecycle management and closed-loop quality integration.
• Knowledge of C#, Visual Basic, JavaScript, MSSQL, or XML.
