Principal Solution Architect, Supply Chain

Responsibilities

• Define and own the technical architecture vision, strategy, and roadmap for supply chain solutions
• Lead the end-to-end design of complex, large-scale supply chain solutions and integration strategies
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to development teams to foster innovation
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions
• Research and recommend new technologies and platforms to enhance supply chain capabilities
• Ensure solutions meet high standards for performance, scalability, security, and reliability
• Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with solution design and implementation
• Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation and technical specifications

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• 10+ years of progressive experience in IT solution architecture
• 5+ years of specific focus on supply chain management (SCM) systems
• Proven experience with microservices, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with leading SCM software suites such as SAP SCM, Oracle SCM, Blue Yonder, or Manhattan Associates
• Strong expertise in data architecture, data modeling, and data integration techniques
• Proficiency in API design principles and integration patterns
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
