Principal Software/Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems based on documented requirements
• Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements
• Document test results and utilize appropriate software development methodologies
• Provide input to system design including the use of COTS and GOTS solutions
• Analyze system performance standards and investigate problem areas

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Extensive software engineering experience (14-20 years depending on education level)
• Experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure using Open Stack or comparable platforms
• Strong Linux and Python background
• Understanding of IT management and operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Broad experience in system engineering disciplines
• Experience with Devops and network automation tools
• Familiarity with cloud security, operations, and PowerShell
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect certifications
