Principal Software Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment for medical devices
• Plan and arrange labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices
• Provide test area parameters for sample testing and specify required tests
• Compile data and define necessary changes in testing equipment, procedures, or manufacturing processes
• Manage large-scale technical projects and act as a mentor or technical lead for lower-level professionals
• Represent the organization as a primary contact for specific projects, communicating with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree with 7+ years of relevant experience, OR
• Master's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, OR
• PhD with 3+ years of relevant experience
• Proven expertise in testing method design and equipment implementation
• Strong experience in data compilation and analysis
