Principal Software Reverse Engineer

Responsibilities

• Reverse engineer complex software or firmware targets ranging from Windows/Linux binaries to embedded firmware
• Develop and apply automated reverse engineering and binary analysis tools
• Lead multi-discipline teams to tackle challenging cybersecurity problems
• Perform vulnerability weaponization, exploit development, and payload development
• Support technical marketing and proposal development
• Document, demonstrate, and present research findings

Requirements

• Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance
• US Citizenship required
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity or related field
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience (MS or PhD may be considered)
• Substantial experience leading technical teams in reverse engineering and exploitation
• Experience with disassembly tools such as IDA Pro, Binary Ninja, or Ghidra
• Proficiency in Assembly Languages (x86, ARM, etc.)
• Proficiency in C/C++ or Python
• Deep understanding of reverse engineering fundamentals and vulnerability research

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with implant or software patch development
• Familiarity with binary emulation tools like QEMU or AFL++
• Experience with DSP architectures (TI, STMicroelectronics, NXP, or Analog Devices)
• Knowledge of operating system internals and embedded systems
• Experience developing custom emulation tools or disassembler/decompiler modules
• Knowledge of anti-reverse engineering and anti-malware techniques
