About the role
Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of systems and digital products design and development to ensure compliance with product and process requirements.
- Perform independent evaluations and risk assessments across the digital products development lifecycle.
- Drive continuous improvement by assessing process and product measures to instill a data-driven culture.
- Ensure the integrity of digital products and Technical Data Packages, including monitoring test and release processes.
- Provide guidance to project and department staff, potentially serving in a software quality leadership role.
- Lead project activities to improve key processes and facilitate root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
- Utilize Agile or DevOps methodologies, focusing on software testing, continuous integration, and continuous monitoring.
Requirements
- STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience applying technical principles in the software/firmware development process.
- Experience conducting quality assessments of software products and artifacts.
- Proven experience with Agile or DevOps software development, software testing, and continuous integration/monitoring.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain an INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance prior to the start date.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (M.S.).
- Technical leadership experience of small teams.
- Experience with project and workload management to satisfy demanding schedules.
- Working knowledge of Earned Value, ISO9000/AS9100, and IPDS.
- Experience using CORE/Six Sigma practices and methodologies.
- Practical experience with Guidance, Navigation, Signal Processing, Radar, and Discrimination systems.
