Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of core ad serving infrastructure ensuring high throughput and sub-100ms latency
• Architect and build agentic backend systems powered by LLMs for contextual ad placement and creative optimization
• Partner with frontend teams on campaign management and advertiser-facing tools
• Design and implement scalable reporting, analytics, and fraud detection systems
• Drive technical strategy for cloud-native, distributed systems
• Mentor and grow a team of engineers through technical leadership and code reviews
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Business Development teams

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 3–5 years in a technical leadership or engineering manager role
• Extensive experience building or scaling ad serving systems (SSPs, DSPs, or large ad platforms)
• Proficiency in Python, Java, C++, or Rust
• Deep experience designing large-scale distributed systems in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Solid understanding of GenAI/LLM concepts, prompt engineering, or agentic workflows
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience building advertising technology systems at scale
• Hands-on work with large language models or inference optimization
• Startup experience with high ownership and evolving requirements
• Familiarity with programmatic advertising concepts like OpenRTB and real-time bidding
