Principal Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement complex changes and build highly scalable applications
• Provide technical leadership and guidance across the engineering organization
• Serve as the primary subject matter expert to drive technical excellence
• Customize, enhance, troubleshoot, and document components based on requirements
• Conduct code reviews and maintain performant, testable code using strong design patterns
• Work with Solution Architects and Engineering Managers to optimize the codebase
• Mentor and coach developers on coding and technical aspects
• Assist in the hiring process to select high-quality team members

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience as an individual contributor
• In-depth knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data, and Hibernate
• Strong expertise in Java 8+, including Reflection, IOC, AOP, and OOP/OOD
• Extensive experience with AWS (Lambda, SQS, SNS, RDS, DynamoDB)
• Proficiency with RDBMS (MSSQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases
• Experience with messaging queues such as RabbitMQ or ActiveMQ/Artemis
• Expertise in application security including authentication, authorization, and encryption
• Strong experience in profiling and impact analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Elasticsearch server cluster optimization
• Experience with Atlassian suite of products and related plugins
