Principal Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise applications and cloud-native platforms.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance for solutions, specifically utilizing Microsoft Azure.
• Design and support scalable microservices, APIs, and distributed application architectures.
• Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Define and enforce engineering best practices, including code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD.
• Support data architecture decisions involving SQL, NoSQL, data lakes, and integration patterns.
• Apply AI/ML knowledge to support solution design, including model deployment and data pipelines.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical direction to raise engineering standards across the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, architecture, or enterprise application development.
• Proven experience designing and building microservices, APIs, and enterprise integration solutions.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms, with a preference for Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with data architecture, including SQL, NoSQL, and data lake patterns.
• Proficiency with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts and responsible AI practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
