Principal Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design discussions for high-volume data sets and complex enterprise integrations
• Design and build reusable frameworks, automated workflows, and libraries at scale to support Digital Employee Experience (DEE) products
• Collaborate with UX designers and product managers to translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, interactive web experiences
• Advise engineering leaders on technology strategy, system design, and technical best practices across the organization
• Guide and mentor engineering teams, driving alignment on standards and engineering culture
• Build and scale integrations with third-party applications across the enterprise

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• 10+ years of experience as a software engineer
• 5+ years of experience designing and leading technical projects
• Deep knowledge of AWS Serverless Services (Lambda, CloudFront, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Aurora RDS, S3, SNS/SQS)
• Expert proficiency in Node.js (TypeScript), React, and Terraform
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins
• Strong technical communication skills and ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a technical leadership role within an agile product model
• Experience developing, monitoring, and supporting highly available microservices
• Familiarity with Databricks, MCP Servers, SailPoint IdentityIQ API, or MSGraph API
