Principal Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the frontend architecture for large-scale, enterprise web applications
• Lead development using React, Next.js, and TypeScript with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Translate complex product and UX requirements into elegant, reusable frontend solutions
• Build and optimize data-heavy interfaces including dashboards, charts, and real-time views
• Establish and enforce frontend best practices, coding standards, and design patterns
• Mentor and review code for other frontend engineers to raise overall engineering quality
• Collaborate with backend, DevOps, and platform teams on API design and system integration
• Drive performance optimization, accessibility (a11y), and cross-browser compatibility

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in React.js (hooks, context, component design) and Next.js (App Router, SSR/SSG)
• Strong expertise in TypeScript using advanced types and strict typing practices
• Mastery of modern CSS (Tailwind CSS, SCSS, or CSS-in-JS) and responsive design
• Deep understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) including async/await and modules
• Experience with state management tools such as Context API, SWR, or React Query
• Proficiency in testing frameworks like Jest, Playwright, or React Testing Library
• Experience with GraphQL (queries, mutations, schema design) and REST APIs
• Familiarity with Docker and cloud-native deployment patterns on AWS
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building SaaS products with multi-tenant architectures
• Strong understanding of frontend security best practices
• Familiarity with design systems and component libraries
• Experience working with AI/ML-driven user experiences or analytics-heavy products
