About the role
Responsibilities
- Configure and extend FAST/GenTax functionality using C#
- Design, build, and maintain services, integrations, and APIs
- Write and optimize SQL for reporting and data migration across SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL
- Participate in agile ceremonies and scope work with business partners
- Review code and write unit/integration tests
- Support production systems by triaging incidents and debugging complex issues
- Document designs, decisions, and runbooks
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical role
- Experience developing in a .NET environment (C#)
- Proficiency with relational databases and SQL
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Solid source-control habits and modern development workflows
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with FAST/GenTax configuration in government revenue/tax domains
- API design and integration experience
- Background in technical documentation and code reviews
- Strong debugging methodology for multi-system issues
