Principal Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in architecture-level discussions, planning, and implementation
• Research and design engineering solutions to solve complex problems
• Drive proof of concepts and minimal viable products for demonstration
• Document projects to facilitate knowledge sharing and user integration
• Support multiple services through system design consulting, capacity planning, and launch reviews
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Sales teams to improve products
• Design and guide solutions to resolve ambiguous requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field
• At least 10 years of experience writing software in Go, Python, or Scala
• Extensive experience with GoLang, Pulumi, and Kubernetes
• Demonstrated mastery of Linux and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
• Flexibility to support an on-call rotation

Preferred Qualifications

• High-performance or scientific computing experience
