Principal Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, creation, and maintenance of cloud-based web applications and scalable software solutions.
• Translate complex requirements into modular, scalable software using state-of-the-art architectural patterns.
• Drive the application of SDLC principles and methodologies such as Agile, Lean, and CI to deliver high-quality code and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, and QA, to analyze requirements and prioritize deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance to development and testing teams to ensure code quality, security, and defect-free operations.
• Lead sprint planning, daily standups, demos, and software design meetings.
• Own continuous improvement activities by identifying and escalating process or product quality gaps.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 12-15 years of proven experience in web development.
• Extensive experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• Proficiency in C# and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, specifically AWS or Azure (Azure preferred).
• Strong understanding of database technologies including Azure SQL DB or MS SQL.
• Proven experience with front-end technologies, specifically ReactJS.
• Hands-on experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Expertise in enterprise integration patterns, including REST and Microservices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the healthcare domain.
• Knowledge of mobile app development using Kotlin.
• Experience with C++, Python, or Node.js.
• Familiarity with Azure Storage tables, Cosmos DB, or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of GraphQL and SOAP API development.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and code quality tools like Coverity or Fortify.
