Principal Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex .NET applications using C# and WPF
• Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior engineering teams
• Collaborate with product management and business leaders to ensure software solutions meet organizational needs
• Drive architectural decisions and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure high software quality
• Lead high-impact engineering projects and drive technical direction for the software engineering team
• Manage database design and development using SQL Server to ensure high performance and reliability

Requirements

• Strong experience in C# with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming
• Expertise in WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) for building rich desktop applications
• Proficiency in SQL Server, including query optimization, stored procedures, and schema design
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
• Experience with version control systems, specifically Git
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and leadership capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to AI technologies
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and DevOps pipelines
