Principal SOC Verification Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end verification for ARM-based automotive MCUs, including full-chip integration and verification sign-off ownership
• Verify ARM Cortex-R52 and Cortex-M7/M4 cores, as well as ARM NIC/XBAR interconnects for connectivity, coherency, and performance
• Manage verification of complex subsystem interactions including boot, reset, clocking, and low-power behavior
• Ensure compliance with ISO 26262 automotive safety requirements and verify safety mechanisms
• Execute low-power verification using UPF, covering multiple power domains, isolation, and retention
• Lead complex debug efforts and mentor engineering teams
• Collaborate with design, safety, and validation stakeholders to mitigate risks toward tape-out readiness

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in SoC verification
• B.Tech or M.Tech in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
• Deep expertise in SystemVerilog and UVM-based environments
• Strong knowledge of AMBA protocols (AXI, AHB, APB)
• Proven experience with ISO 26262 automotive safety standards
• Experience with UPF for low-power verification

Preferred Qualifications

• Pre-silicon experience on emulation or validation platforms such as Palladium or Veloce
• Experience verifying MRAM-based subsystems and firmware-driven flows
