Principal SLT Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of engineers to implement SLT test solutions for a multi-die AI Processor product
• Work with Silicon, Test, and DFT teams to define manufacturing test solutions
• Collaborate with industry leaders to develop SLT systems meeting product needs
• Define test fixtures including structural and functional equipment, interface PCBs, sockets, and cooling systems
• Write production, engineering, and characterization test programs on advanced SLT platforms
• Balance test coverage and fault detection across ATE, board, blade, and in-field test stages
• Transfer test solutions to offshore vendors as part of NPI release
• Support silicon and board bring-up to enhance yield learning

Requirements

• Experience in production testing of large digital devices
• Strong knowledge of digital integrated circuits and advanced test techniques
• Understanding of DFT components such as JTAG (IEEE 1149.x), BIST, and MBIST
• Experience transferring to volume manufacture via OSATs and Contract Manufacturers
• Proficiency in scripting and debugging with Python, TCL, Perl, or Shell
• Degree in electronics or a related field
• Ability to mentor junior team members

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven competence on SLT testers
• Experience with thermal control of high-power devices in production environments
