Principal Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage, administer, and maintain customer Infrastructure Platforms within a 24x7x365 data center environment
• Perform daily system monitoring to verify the integrity and availability of hardware, resources, and key processes
• Repair and recover infrastructure from hardware or software failures and coordinate with impacted stakeholders
• Conduct preventative maintenance and upgrades on devices and peripherals to meet IT specifications
• Identify system performance issues and drive the development of tools to correct them
• Leverage Automation and AI to improve operational efficiency
• Mentor junior resources and contribute to team learning and development

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related engineering field
• 8–12 years of IT industry experience, preferably in managed services
• Expertise in Nutanix hybrid multi-cloud computing and strong understanding of Converged/Hyperconverged infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with Nutanix AHV, VMware vSphere, and RedHat OpenShift
• Strong command of Server, Storage, Networking, and Data Protection technologies
• Ability to work in a 24/7 rotational shift environment, including night shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leveraging Automation to improve large-scale operations
• Hands-on expertise in programming languages such as Python or Go
• Proficiency with automation tools like Ansible and version control systems like GitHub
