Principal Site Contracts Associate

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate clinical study agreements, service agreements, and related legal documents.
• Provide expert context on site comments regarding local legal frameworks and common business practices.
• Scrutinize contract revisions against established negotiation and budget parameters.
• Ensure all final documents comply with applicable laws, regulations, and ICH-GCP guidelines.
• Serve as the primary communication liaison between site contracts staff and internal/external customers.
• Manage the full contract execution process, including signature collection and timely document completion.
• Identify potential operational risks and collaborate with stakeholders to find mutually acceptable solutions.
• Track and report on contracting activity statuses to Site Contract Leads and study teams.
• Mentor and train less experienced staff members on departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Act as a country expert by staying updated on local trends and regulatory requirements in site contracting.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in site contracting or a related field within the CRO industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Economics, Business, Social Sciences, or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong negotiation, diplomacy, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to interpret complex legal language and budgets.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
