Principal Signal Processing Researcher

Responsibilities

• Design and apply cutting-edge signal processing techniques to solve complex HF propagation challenges
• Engage directly with customers to understand unique requirements and national security needs
• Collaborate with diverse teams to develop and deploy prototype systems
• Lead and inspire multi-disciplinary teams through technical expertise and leadership
• Drive business development initiatives and support proposal writing efforts

Requirements

• Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
• PhD, MS, or BS in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or related technical discipline
• 10+ years of experience in physics modeling and processing programs
• Experience in RF signal processing, HF propagation, adaptive signal processing, or geolocation
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or C/C++
• Strong mathematical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Active TS Clearance with SCI-eligibility
• Demonstrated leadership of complex research, development, and engineering efforts
• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or Physics
• Experience with HF propagation modes and end-to-end signal processing chains
• Experience translating mission needs into end-to-end solutions for decision-makers
